UDL Classroom Survey-Working Together in All Environments
Small Groups Work: Share two things that you have done or are planning to incorporate in your environment and give reasons why you believe it would support your students.
Looking at Student Assessments
1. How do assessments inform instruction? Why do we do it?
2. Using an Assessment Web to Document and Make Next Step Plans
3. Producing Assessment Webs
Homework
1. Content Review: Choose a content area to develop your background knowledge: Instructional Resources, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), National Center on UDL, and Looking at Student Work
2. Respond to Blog entry (Initial entry and response to three other participants). Ground your response with your current educational role/responsibilities, the content you researched, and the work we did today.
3. Share three images from your classroom environment that you would like to reconsider. Bring these images (paper form) to our next session.
4. Continue to work on your assessment webs. Complete one section on each student web for our next session. Bring the webs (digital or in print) to our next session.
